Consultation
Remodel Design
New Residence Design

The goal or The Remodel Architect is to listen to the client's needs and to guide the client with good architectural advice.  A consultation is needed to get a project started. Usually this is a field visit to see where you are on the project and to hear what goals you have set. A consultation  is money well spent when your questions are answered and you know your project is feasible. There is peace of mind in basing you decisions on professional advice.

Most remodel clients are looking for function as well as beauty and want to be part of the decision making process.  The remodel Architect believes in presenting you a range of options and let you make the decision.  This often includes an option for "the most bang for the buck".  The Remodel architect wants you to achieve your own architectural goals and dreams, not to build a monument to an architect!

Remodeling requires attention to detail, including existing detail.  We document e your house carefully, measuring and photoing existing conditions. This information helps us to create accurate  "as built " drawings.

After listening to your needs we provide schematic design sketches for your approval.  Once approved we develop detailed Construction drawings with dimensions and notes. These drawings can be used in obtaining building permits and as a contract with your builder.

Many clients are interested in a complete new residence.  The Remodel Architect can design you a new residence from scratch.  We meet with you to hear all your ideas and to see you "scrapbook" of things you would like to see incorporated in the project.  We review your lot survey and help you place the new design on the lot per city zoning requirements.

The process is similar to remodel design in that we produce schematic design drawings for your approval and later construction drawings for permitting.

A new residence is a great way to get exactly what you want, completely new  and no fuss about "that old house".
